Weekend Changes

Guess you could call today eventful. ...Nah, not really.
I am excited about going to school tomorrow. Yeah. No, not because it's Monday. Eep no. It's because... well, Im always excited about going to school because of a certain crush. But a lot of things have changed over this weekend, and it'll be interesting to go to school with all the changes. It sounds like Im talking about some weird pubertic thing, but Im not. Friday evening, I got my new glasses. Prescription's finally perfect! I have mixed feelings about the new glasses, but Im sure I'll get attatched to them, just like I did with my Greggie Proops glasses. My new glasses are certainly less geeky, but I dunno if they make me look less geeky. I'll have to judge that by the laugh volume of my friends when they see me tomorrow. I have a feeling I'll get teased by Tiffany, just 'cause that's the kind of person she is. :P
So my glasses is a major change. Another thing is I got new uniform shirts. Im ditching my old baggy ones and wearing my new ones from now on. Blech, I got tired of thinking that people might consider me a slob for how my uniform fit on me.
Another major thing: I got my eyebrows shaped. My first time having my brows waxed, but it didnt hurt as much as I feared. Kayla got hers done yesterday, and she told me it hurt so bad, and she told me that her eyes hurt because they had to wax the sensative skin above the eyelids, and all I could say was,"Eek!" And when I went to the salon to get it done, the lady asked me if it was my first time. I said yes, and she warned me it hurt. Eep, how bad does it hurt for everyone to say it does? But it didnt hurt that bad. My eyes didnt even water, as I expected.
A smaller change: I got some new makeup. Blue eyeliner to accent my eyes, new lip gloss I might actually wear, and eyebrow pencils in case I ever need them.
And finally, an even smaller change. Hah, this would go under the category of Too Much Information, but I got new socks and underwear also. *Nod* One pair of socks has moneys on them, and they say,"How funky is your monkey?" ^_^
I feel guilty about how much money my parents spent on me today. We're extra tight on money now because of all the money that went towards the American Idol concert, and yet they spent forty dollars on me at Target, and over fifty dollars (I think) for new uniform items. Not to mention the new John Mayer CD and the new A Series of Unfortunate Events book. And now I need to purchase Paint Shop Pro 8 because I can no longer use my trial version. (Usually I just download the trial version of the software, use it for 58 days, and before the 60th day [when the trial time expires], I delete the trial version and download a new trial version. But this time I forgot that the time was almost up, and I didnt delete it in time, and it wont let me use anymore period.) And I just spent my last dollars left over from the American Idol concert on buttons to sell. I was suppose to be making a profit off of selling these things, but I forgot about shipping and handling. So Im even tight on money. I dont think they're any way we're all going to London in June to see the Harry Potter premiere. I'd rather we stop saving up for it and just use the money we have saved up for things we need. I havent told my parents that yet, because I dont want to punish myself in the future because of a decision I thought I wanted presently.
My new favorite phrase/"song"/jingle is,"They call it Butte -not Butt-, Montana!" which is courtesy of Ryan Stiles from Whose Line during a game of Scenes From a Hat.
It's 10:30 now -- I gotta get offline to take a quick shower and go to bed. I still have stuff to talk about that happened on Friday and Saturday. But g'night for now! Buenas noches, amigos!
