(you wrote that in my year book last year!)/your pal/Kay La/P.S. I hope Spike's really not your brother. Aww!! Eighth grade memories!!! I flipped through my 7th and 8th grade yearbooks this evening while on the phone with Kayla. Why? That'll be explained in this weeks edition of: My old crush ('ex-crush' would be the proper term) is back at my school after leaving after 7th grade. Clayton is back. Yup, his name's Clay. Do you know how weird it is for me to hear someone say his name, and I automatically start to listen in to the conversation because I think they're talking about Clay Aiken. Oh, but they're not. They're talking about that Clay. (It's gonna be soo awkward if Clay sees my CLAYMTE license plates when my parents pick me up from school!) Clay, my classmate Clay (who I will call Clayton from now on to avoid confusion), is soo different now. Maybe it's just mostly on the outside. He's a lot taller, his voice is so deep it's almost annoying, and he doesn't style his hair spiky anymore. (I think his spikey hair [and hazel/green? eyes] was the only thing I liked about him. Well, he was pretty funny.) I think Clayton might not've recognized me. Either that or he was ignoring me. (I could believe that.) I was standing by Jake outside of Room 2 this morning before school started, and Clay only talked to Jake and then left to talk to some upperclassman. He said to Jake,"Hey, Jake. You remember me, right? Dang, you got tall," then left. Well, I was hoping for a new student and hoping for some excitement to brighten up the school year, and I can't complain. The rest of the school year should prove to be interesting. On Friday when Clayton was first spotted around the campus since 7th grade, I was thinking maybe he'd be the friend I'd be hoping to have in my grade level. Nuupe, not gonna happen. If we talked now we probably wouldn't get along. And also.. we're not in the same classes. XP And in completely other news, oo, I feel so happy!! I Clayverted another one of my friends! For complete sure this time! I gave her my last extra copy of Clay's CD yesterday, and this morning she gave me a biggg hug and said,"Thank you, Jeannette! Clay changed my life!" She's a total Claymate now and she is soo happy and excited about it!! Aw, I feel so helpful and loved!! Well, I gotta take a shower and finish some Spanish homework. I'm gonna need more time to talk about everything I need want to talk about. So goodnight!! :)
