Spanish Blessing and the Olympics
02/17/2004 9:56 PM I was given a blessing today. I had a Spanish test second period that I was totally not ready for. I told myself that if most of the test was conversation and sentence structure, then I'd do fine, but since the chapter was on body parts, I was convinced that there was going to be a picture to diagram. When I was handed the test, it was like the heavens opened up and I could hear the angels singing,"HALLELUJAH!" The whole test was conversation and sentence structure. Notta single vocabulary word on it. :P Next month, all the Spanish classes are having Spanish Olympics. I am dreading that so much. Even though I can work out Spanish on paper, I can't see this stuff in my head and I get so lost when I try to say stuff outloud. I don't want to embarrass myself in front of my Hispanic classmates. And what's more, my teacher made me the team captain of my group, just because I had the highest grade outta the group. : I'm really not looking forward to this. But Jake's on my team, so I guess it won't be as bad as it could. Oh, waiting until this morning to take a shower didn't work out so well. I didn't fall asleep until after 1AM because I kept saying in my head,"I gotta get up tomorrow right when my alarm gets up so I'm not late..." instead of just being able to relax like usual. Tonight I think I'm going to take my shower after I finish this entry.... Oh, hah, guess what? Desmond showed up at school today. The school said,"Okay, one more chance," but he'll be outta there again in no time at all. He was his normal, loud, rude self in class today; I know that even though I'm not in the same classes as him. He was so loud I could hear him from my classroom. Well, I hafta go. Grammar/Literature test tomorrow that I still have to finish studying for. Goodnight!
