HOLY CRAP THE HARRY POTTER EXPO IS TOMORROW!!!
"I apologize. And now for something completely different."
Sorry, I'm spazzing. So nervous about the expo thing tomorrow. I still haven't gotten my stuff ready yet. Eep!! And I'm gonna have to get up early in the morning anyway just to take a shower and get dressed.
Tiffany's going with me to the expo, if I haven't already mentioned it. It should be a lot of fun, aside from the stomach ache I'm gonna have from nerves. Only bad part is that my mom is gonna be with me and Tiffany the whole time. *Groan* I'm old enough to do without, but Tiffany's mom wouldn't let Tiffany go unless my parents, or at least one of them, was with me and Tiffany the whole time. Hopefully my mom will leave at some point to look around the mall with Rick.
I watched Bridget Jones's Diary today. Quite a fun movie. The fight scene between Colin Firth and Hugh Grant towards the end of the movie was interesting. It was like a battle of the British cuties. Niice.
Like my new layout? Creepy, huh? I don't think I'll keep it up long, though. It creeps me out because Clay's birth father just died no more than two or three weeks ago....
I have a lot of stuff to talk about that happened yesterday. Mostly good, I guess, if I can remember everything.
I remember yesterday as being a fairly funny day. But, symbolically, there was also a dark cloud over the day. I'll start with the fun first.
After I had finished my Algebra test third period and became bored of cramming for my spelling/vocabulary test, so I amused myself by building card houses out of my index cards. Jake laughed about it, Adrian gave a weird look, and Brittney & Jessica helped me build a few houses. The tallest house made was three-levels high. Bravo!
The funnest moment of the day happened at lunch, and it's a big shame it's one of those you-had-to-have-been-there stories. I'll try and explain anyway, if only for my own amusement.
So at lunch Kristen and I were sitting outside of room 11, right near where Joey eats his lunch. Kristen kept trying to tell me a story about something Joey did, but she was being vague and I didn't understand what she was saying. So I told her very loudly,"You have to be more specific! Use names! Like 'JOEY G------'!" (Last name blocked out for privacy reason.) And no more than a second after I said Joey's name, he comes slowly walking around the corner and into my friends' and my spot. I froze in embarrassment and stared at the ground pretending nothing happened, and Kristen started to chuckle softly. Kristen told me later that Joey was staring at us and giving us a weird look as he walked over to a couple of people standing in front of the lockers. Kristen got up and started to run towards the bathroom as her laughing got louder. I only sat there, shaking to contain my laughs, for a few seconds until I ran after Kristen. As soon as I got outta the area, I started cracking up like mad, and Kristen joined in. TIffany caught up with us on the way to the bathroom and we tried to explain why we were laughing so hard. We only got every other word out and din't make much sense. Eventually me and Kristen were able to tell Tiffany the story, but she didn't fine it as funny as Kristen and I did. But my stomach hurt after so much laughing. Best laugh I ever remember having.
Bad and sad part of the day is when the cop car came to school. They were there because of Nicole. She has some family problems, and they got discovered by a teacher at school. I won't give details abuot the problems because it's her own business, but it involves Nicole and her cousin.
Everyone was talking about the cop car for the rest of the day. Because I had "the scoop," people in my class like Brittney asked me a few times to tell her what had happened and why the police man was at school. I didn't tell anyone, though. It was a little hard not to at times.
But enough of sad stuff; I have a bit of an amusing story I forgot to tell a couple of days ago. One morning last week I was in the school office getting an excused tardy slip (because of traffic on the freeway), and a few people walked in the office behind me. I had my backpack over my sholder, and all over my backpack my friends have written phrases with Clay Aiken's name. I heard a girl behind me say,"Clay Aiken? He rocks!" That was so cool -- my friends and I thought we were the only ones in the whole school that liked Clay. Everyone else is only into cursing put to a beat.
I seriously gotta wrap this entry up. : :( No sleep for me t'night. Totally my fault.
By the way, Switchfoot's gonna be on 'On Air with Ryan Seacrest' on Tuesday.
Goodnight!
