Slave-Day Auctions

Kind of an interesting day. The school held the Slave Day auctions during second and third period, so I didn't have to take my Spanish quiz. XP Ehe.
Before I go on, I'll briefly explain the Slave Day auctions. Every school year the school holds auctions. Girls can bid on guys, and guys can bid on girls. (The most you can buy someone for is $25.) If you buy someone, they become your slave for a day. (If you don't want to be a slave, you can buy your freedom for double what you were bought for.) The day after the auctions, the girls serve the guys, and the day after that the guys serve the girls.
Since the rest of my friends were at the Junior High auctions, I sat with Kayla, Desmond, and Joel.
Joel was the first out of the four of us to be requested to be auctioned off. Poor him, though, he only went for the starting bid of a dollar. Desmond was asked to come up after Joel. I can't remember how much he was sold for. A while after that Kayla was bought by Peter, a senior. I've heard he likes her. Interesting. I'll look into that sometime.
I think I was the last freshman girl to be auctioned off. I wasn't planning on going up, but people were calling out my name to go up (except for the juniors and seniors -- some of them were calling out "Kayla's friend!") I furiously shook my head 'no', but I was beckoned up. Desmond had the starting bid of a dollar, then someone (I don't know who) bid two dollars. Going once, going twice -- wait. People were telling Jake to buy me. "C'mon, you have to buy your girlfriend!!" I heard someone say. I was sold to Jake for three bucks. He's being nice, though. He said all he wants me to do is get good grades, be nice, and say,"I love Harry Potter," when he says to.
Kayla and I were planning on buying Joey. Oh man, we already had plans, too. I was going to make him wear my Clay shirt and I was going to flat-iron his hair, and Kayla was going to make him wear a skirt. But while he was walking up to the front, someone called out the limit,"Twenty-five!" Aww, dang.
My friends and I are already preparing for next year's auctions. We're each going to bring in $5 so we'll have over $25 to buy Joey.
I didn't buy anyone this year, but I did put five bucks towards Kayla buying Peter. She wanted to buy him for pay back, in case Peter made her do anything mean, but actually he's not making her do anything too bad.
The girls serve tomorrow. "I love Harry Potter."
Well, it's late. I had better get going. Still have to take my shower, and I definitely have that Spanish quiz tomorrow. Goodnight!
