Birthday Stuff

Quick entry tonight because I must must must finish the newspaper part of 'Romeo and Juliet' project tonight (as well as take a shower and get to bed before 11:00).
Today was much better than yesterday. :D Especially during PE, but I can't say why. It's a secret. *Shh* ^_^
The day got even better after school. Rick and I just randomly went to the Cingular, and we wound up getting new cell phones while upgrading our service. I love my new Nokia!! It's so tiny compared to my old one, and it has polyphonic ringtones, and it's compatable with AIM so now I don't have to get my instant messages as text messages anymore! :D Annd it has a flashlight. XP Woot, I love my new cell.
I got a birthday card in the mail today from my Aunt Nancy and Uncle Frank in Minnesota, and there was a check for $50 in it. I feel guilty for getting it because it's been years since I've talked to them, and yet they send money. I feel like I should put it in my college account or something. But Rick told me that I shouldn't feel guilty 'cause the family that lives around my aunt and uncle probably get present every holiday and birthday because they see my aunt and uncle more. So I don't think I feel so guilty anymore.
My parents make me sad, though. Today they gave me my birthday card from them, and I knew I had seen the card before. So I looked in a drawer in my closet and found that my parents had given me the exact same card for my thirteenth birthday. Would that make anyone else sad if they were in my place? I don't know how to explain it, but it's like... birthday's only happen once a year, and for two birthdays I had the same card. I guess it feels like my parents didn't care enough to select a special card, but I know that's not true.
Haha, I heard that a few of my friends are making some sort of fruit basket for my birthday because Joey's nicknames consist of any mention of fruit. It's be funny if they actually did that.
Well, I've got to go. Tomorrow's my last full day of school for this week! :D Woot! See you later.
