It's a Conspiracy
06/01/2004 10:55 PM I think people are dead around here. They've all gone to LiveJournal.com. Now here's something more for me to rant about: now Kayla can't go with me to the Prisoner of Azkaban midnight showing!! What the fuck is going on here?!?? Okay, so, here's the deal. Last week, Kayla's parents promised her that she could go with me, but tonight when she asked them if they could drop her off at the theater, they suddenly told her that she can't go. They say she can't go because they don't want her to miss school, but she doesn't even have to miss school to go! And it's really very rude to my parents and me that her parents make these plans with us and that my parents and I wrap out schedules around taking Kayla to the midnight showing, and then they cancel it for no reason at all. And to top it all off, Kayla's parents said that if my parents call them, Kayla's parents will ground her. What the fuck?? Rick's going to call Kayla's mom at work tomorrow anyway, after she's had a night to cool off. Kayla said it's okay for Rick to call. I was crying over the phone when we were talking, and she said that she felt bad because she had never heard me cry before, which made me feel bad so I cried more. I would be ranting on this more, but I'm sort of in denial right now that there's a chance Kayla will still go with me. It all depends on how good of a night's sleep Kayla's parents get tonight, really. And just a random thought for the movie the Prisoner of Azkaban, I really hope they ease Harry's character into angst instead of Harry just showing up with his anger at the beginnning of the movie without no real explanation. Like I told Lindsey, just imagine his first line in the movie being,"FUCK THE WORLD!" Though I must admit Lindsey was right in saying it'd be funny if he did. XD And also about the movie -I really hate this- they took out Snape's best parts!!!!! Like the part where he points his want at Black and says,"Give me a reason. Give me a reason to do it and I swear I will." Oh my gawdd, I was looking forward to hearing Alan say that SO MUCH. But now it's gone. : And Snape doesn't make a grand entrance into the Shrieking Shack -- apparently he just stumbles in and then Lupin makes him look like a total fool. Blahh. I'll boo and hiss at Lupin if that really does happen, even if Lupin's my favorite character. 0:) Haha, and also another quick thing about Harry Potter; I've been wearing my Slytherin wristband from Hot Topic every day since I got it, and whenever someone asks me,"Why aren't you wearing Gryffindor??" I tell them,"Because Gryffindor's for pussies!" and they laugh because I don't think anyone would expect me to walk around saying that all day. OH! I LOVE YOU, KATE!! She made me an AIM Expression thingie-mah-jigger with Matthew Lewis and Alan Rickman. :D Look! Click here! I'm in an AIM Expression! XP Speaking of Matthew Lewis, his birthday is coming up in a few weeks. Any ideas of what I should get him? Lindsey gave me the idea of making him a CD, but what else could I add? Before I go, just wanted to mention this as well. Apparently Paul got kicked out of the school last week, so I'll never see him again. I thought there would be a chance we'd hook up, but no, guess nothing was suppose to happen if we never talk anymore, eh? Oi, still need a Prisoner of Azkaban layout. Had better go -- nearly 11:30.
