The Final Final of Freshman Year
06/09/2004 11:01 PM
My mood

Tomorrow's my last day of finals. I'm estatic about it, but also feel bad about it.

I just have my Spanish final tomorrow, but it's going to go horribly because I have no idea what to study. I haven't seen my Spanish teacher in class for four school days, so there was no time given to review for the final.

So I'm just going through the book and reviewing everything I think is important. I can only hope the whole tests will be on animals because that's basically all the vocabulary I can remember, but that won't happen. I don't really mind if I get anything as low as a C or D, even if the final will count as 20% of my semester grade.... *Gulp*

I watched part of the Teen Choice Awards 2001 that I had taped all those years ago, and I was just blown away by how much has changed in these three years. I was just twelve then, and "Pop," "Survivor," and "The Call" were the big songs of the year back then. Those used to be my favorite songs, but it's been just about three years since I've heard them. It's funny to watch these things because everyone's all crazy for one thing (like Aaron Carter, for instance) and they're proud, rabid fans, but you look around now and it's like... "Um, Aaron Carter? Oh yeah, I think I've heard of him...." And Carson Daly won the 'Best TV Personality' award, which I think is totally fucked up because you have to have a personality to be a TV personality.

I've been hanging around LiveJournal.com most of the day, and when I came across this icon earlier, it just made me weep:

First time I've cried over Sirius's death, which is weird because Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix was released nearly a year ago. It's just the idea of James and Sirius finally being reunited in heaven that makes me to sob. And for Christ's sake, they're fictional characters!!!

Well, on a light note, I finally get to see Prisoner of Azkaban again. :D Kayla and I are seeing it on the IMAX theater after our last day of school on Friday.

Speaking of Prisoner of Azkaban, who saw Horizontal Snape?? Like towards the end when Snape falls on the bed ... who saw it? I envy anyone who saw it because I, even with my Snape obsession, somehow didn't notice it. Blah. But no matter, because I'll get to see Horizontal Snape IMAXed on Friday! *Evil fangirl giggle*

**Reminder for myself to see Garfield and Shrek 2**

You know what? It's the simple things in life you've got to cherish, such as that good-tasting glue you find on an envelope every once in a while.
